Introduction

These are the legends of the Turaga — as they were passed down to the Tohunga, the people living in the land of Mata Nui — tales about their history, their future and the danger to the Island brought by the appearance of Makuta.

The legends also contain prophecies related to the fate of the Toa, heroes who will come to the aid of the people of Mata Nui.
